Your connections.
Your choices.
This policy describes BlueVNC for iPhone and iPad and this support website, provided by Picktek LLC. Contact luka@picktek.com with privacy questions.
Saved computers and credentials
BlueVNC stores computer names, hostnames or IP addresses, ports, usernames, connection settings and discovery preferences in the app’s storage. New saved passwords and Tailscale API or OAuth credentials are stored in the Apple Keychain. Existing connection records and credential references may be read to preserve your saved computers when updating. Existing Keychain items may follow their original Apple synchronization settings.
Remote connections
When you connect, BlueVNC communicates with the computer or service you select. The connection can carry authentication data, screen content, keyboard and pointer input, clipboard content when you use those features. The remote computer and its administrator control their own records and security settings. Network addresses and connection information are also processed by the networks and services that route the connection.
Local discovery and optional Tailscale services
Local discovery browses for VNC services on your local network and checks whether discovered or saved endpoints are reachable. You control Local Network permission in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
If you enable Tailscale discovery, BlueVNC sends your configured Tailnet ID and API token, or OAuth client credentials, to Tailscale’s API to request your device list. It processes the returned device names and addresses to display available computers. Tailscale processes these requests under its own privacy policy. You can disable discovery in BlueVNC and revoke credentials with Tailscale.
Diagnostics and connected services
BlueVNC 1.5 build 49 does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting SDKs or a BlueVNC cloud account. Picktek does not receive your remote screen, input, clipboard or saved passwords through an app telemetry service.
Optional Tailscale API requests identify your configured account or tailnet and device-discovery activity. Tailscale may retain account, network-address and request metadata to authenticate, operate, protect and understand use of its service, under its privacy policy. Remote computers and other services you choose have their own logging and retention practices.
Apple features
Apple handles App Store distribution and may provide diagnostics according to your Apple settings. Apple backup and Keychain services follow your device and account settings.
Advertising and tracking
BlueVNC does not use data for advertising or cross-app tracking. Optional services process requests under their own policies.
This website and support
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes ordinary request information, including IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect the site. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising, tracking cookies or contact forms to these pages.
If you email support, Picktek receives your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond, troubleshoot and maintain support records. Do not send passwords, API tokens, OAuth secrets, private screen contents or files that are not needed for the request.
Retention and your choices
Saved connection records remain on your device while retained by the app. Apple backup or synchronizable Keychain data may persist under your Apple settings; uninstalling an app does not necessarily remove all Keychain items. You can change saved credentials, disable optional discovery, revoke service credentials with their provider, and manage Apple permissions and backups.
Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve requests and maintain relevant service records. Service providers apply their own retention rules. Email us to request access to or deletion of personal information held by Picktek, or to ask for help managing app data. We may need to verify your request and retain information required for legal obligations.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change. The date above identifies the current notice. For questions or requests, email luka@picktek.com.
